Tanya Salehian

Tanya has an MFA in Fine Art, painting and a degree in Art Education from London Goldsmiths, College of Fine Arts and UNSW, Sydney.

Tanya's works tend to characterise the English aesthetic of being rather cool - in temperature, temperament and style and choice of colours and forms. Her English influences reference painters like Ben Nicholson and Ceri Richards, and the sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Tanya’s sense of form and feeling for space and surfaces tells of her own interests in sculpture.
