  We are temporarily without an online application process. To request an Image reproduction, complete Image Reproduction Application form 2021-2022 (DOCX 78 KB) and return to artheritage@portphillip.vic.gov.au

• Fees and Format information

  Reproductions of images from the Port Phillip City Collection are available in digital format only. We endeavour to make as many images as possible available for reproduction however some are not able to be reproduced due to copyright or other restrictions.

  The City of Port Phillip does not charge publishing fees for print or electronic media.

  Fee waiver Special requests for a reduction in image reproduction fees for students and non-profit organisations will be considered. Requests should be made in writing by email, artheritage@portphillip.vic.gov.au

  Price list and file format

  Price per single image (GST not applicable):

  • Digital File A4 up to 25 MB, (300dpi) Tiff or Jpg $37.50
  • Digital File A3 up to 50 MB, (300dpi) Tiff or Jpg $39
  • Digital File A2 to A1 up to 100 MB, (300dpi) Tiff or Jpg $45

  Payment

  • All orders must be paid in full before the application is processed and images delivered.
  • Payment can be made by cheque or Accounts Payable Invoice.
  • Cheques are payable to the City of Port Phillip.

• Image delivery

  Delivery by email

  Digital files are delivered via the Microsoft OneDrive electronic drop box.

  Delivery by post

  For delivery by post please provide or purchase a USB.

  • Verbatim Pinstripe 16 GB USB $10 including GST.
  • Postage and handling fee (within Australia) $5.50 to $10.
  • Courier delivery fee (Melbourne metro area) apply and are approximately $20 to $25.
  • Delivery outside Australia by arrangement.

• Copyright

  • Some restrictions may apply to the reproduction of items from the Port Phillip City Collection if the copyright does not reside with the City of Port Phillip.
  • Persons wishing to purchase and use an image accept sole responsibility for acquiring written copyright permission to publish, reproduce or exhibit the Collection item.
  • They also accept legal liability for any infringement of copyright caused by unauthorised use of the image.
  • If there are any specific issues with the copyright of an item you wish to reproduce, Art and Heritage staff will inform you as a part of the application process

• Publishing and acknowledgement

  The City of Port Phillip does not charge publishing fees, however, permission to publish an image from the Port Phillip City Collection (PPCC) is subject to the following conditions

  • Submission of a completed Image Reproduction application form (available above).
  • Copyright clearance.
  • Payment of all fees.
  • Acknowledgement of the Port Phillip City Collection with every use of each image requested.
  • All image reproduction requests are subject to an approval process in accordance with PPCC policies and guidelines.
  • If the images will be reused, you must submit a new application.
