School Holiday Activities

Join the Youth Services team for some epic activities this School Holidays including Luna Park, Melbourne Cable Park, skate lessons at Port Melbourne Skatepark and more. Register your interest by submitting an EOI form!

Please note that completing the expression of interest form does not confirm your registration. The Youth Services team will contact you via email if your registration has been accepted.

Mondays - St Kilda Teen Takeover

Meet new friends and get stuck into baking, photography, games, trampolining and more!

For ages 12 to 15.

When: Monday's during school term (4pm to 6pm)
Where: St Kilda Adventure Playground

Tuesdays - Port Melbourne After School Hangouts

Ignite your curiosity and connect with like-minded young people at our fortnightly hangout at Sandridge Community Centre.

For ages 10 to 12.

When: 3.30pm to 5.30pm - Dates for 2025 to be confirmed
Where: Sandridge Community Centre, Port Melbourne

Wednesdays - Homework Club

Are you in high school and struggling to keep up with schoolwork? Get access to tutoring and educational support at our weekly homework club. Grade 6 students also welcome!

When: Every Wednesday during school term
Where: Emerald Hill Library, South Melbourne
Cost: FREE

Thursdays - Games Club

Join our weekly gaming club and connect with other young gamers. Battle it out in an epic Mario Kart or Smash Bros. Tournament or give our VR headsets a go!

Suitable for ages 12 to 18.

When: Every Thursday - 4pm to 6pm
Where: Emerald Hill Library, South Melbourne
Cost: FREE

St Kilda PCYC
The St Kilda Police and Citizens' Youth Club (PCYC) offers fun and adventurous school holiday programs open to young people aged 10 to 17 years. Activities include supervised events, excursions and other exciting activities.

The Boatshed
The Boatshed on Albert Park Lake offers school holiday and year-round accredited Australian Sailing programs for kids, teens and adults. One of their programs includes an introductory sailing program, known as Tackers, which is designed to teach sailing in a fun and engaging way for kids who are aged 7 to 12.

Camp Australia
Holidays are a time to get serious about having fun. Camp Australia creates adventures and experiences that entertain children - whether it’s for one day, every day, or anything in between. With incursions, excursions and in-program theme days, there’s something for every child.

MSAC holiday program
Treat your kids to sports galore in the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) holiday program, designed for active kids aged five to 12. The program offers a variety of different sports and activities to challenge all levels of a child’s ability in a safe and secure environment.

OSHClub
OSHClub offers a huge variety of engaging activities from art, craft and cooking to sports, dance and drama. The programs are designed to include activities children choose to do, helping to build their independence and encourage their individual personalities to shine.
Powerhouse St Kilda Hockey Club
An inclusive and friendly hockey community that encourages all ages and abilities to enjoy team sport during school holidays and all year round.

SouthPort Community Centre's Get Out of Town program
Low-income families can enjoy fun free day activities during school holidays with Get Out Of Town (GOOT). The program brings together low income, isolated families and helps them to experience exciting, enjoyable holiday outings without the financial strain usually involved. Some meals are included.

Team Kids school holiday program
Offering a huge range of exciting incursions, excursions and in-house themes. Daily programs are specifically developed for each venue, ensuring children have a say in what is included. Activities are for children aged five to 12 years, with teacher-qualified educators and industry leading ratios.
