What is a Supported Playgroup?

Supported playgroups are facilitated by a Council worker and a health professional from Better Health Network.
They are free. You'll be offered light-on parenting advice and strategies. Sessions follow the Smalltalk program’s structure, covering several different topics every week, including the below:

  • Tuning into Children
  • Child-led Play
  • Listening and Talking More

Time: 10 am to 12 pm, every Wednesday during school term. Groups do not meet during school holidays.

If this time does not suit you, please note we run another session on Mondays in St Kilda.
