The club was established in 2004 to provide social support to elderly, vulnerable and isolated residents mainly from Port Phillip with Russian speaking background. The club offers variety of social activities, entertainment, seminars/lectures on health and ageing, excursions/field trips and community meals. It has also a singing group called 'Ensemble Nostalgia' that showcases their musical talent in multicultural festivals, synagogues and nursing homes.
