JL Murphy Reserve

JL Murphy Reserve is the largest Council-managed park in Port Phillip. It is often used for active sport and can also be used for a broad range of informal recreation activities. It features:
- Two football or cricket ovals
- A baseball diamond
- One full size and one half size soccer field
- Multiuse half-court with line marking for basketball and netball
- A soccer, football, cricket and baseball pavilion
- Playspace
- 'Dig In' Community Garden
- Open grassy recreation areas
- Onsite depot for storage and recycling water
Location
Access
JL Murphy Reserve can be accessed from Williamstown Road, Graham Street, and Plummer Street in Port Melbourne.
There is a driveway with a drop-off zone and two accessible parking bays in front of JL Murphy Pavilion on Williamstown Road.

Bus
Bus routes 232, 235, 238 and 606 pass JL Murphy Reserve along Williamstown Road.
Parking
Free parking is available around the perimeter of the reserve, check local signage for specific parking restrictions.

Restrictions
Dogs can be off-leash throughout the reserve, though no dogs are permitted within 5 metres of the playground and picnic areas. Penalties apply.
