Elwood Playspace – Shade Sail Installation
We’re installing two shade sails to increase the shade at Elwood Playspace. The shade sails will be installed over the mound slide and the sandpit areas.

- Shade sails installation18 Apr 2025After the footing installation, the shade sails are measured and manufactured over the next three weeks with installation expected to occur around mid-April.
Why are we doing this?
The installation of the shade sails will partially shade to area protecting the space from the sun.
The impact
The Elwood Playspace will be temporarily fenced and unavailable whilst the footings are installed on Friday 21 March 2025. The space will be available for use outside this timeframe.
Please use the playground adjacent the tennis courts on Friday 21 March 2025.
