Funding for the proposed extension St Kilda pier to meet Jacka Boulevard and create an iconic visitor experience.

The City of Port Phillip is excited to announce that it will receive over $2,600,000 for the St Kilda Foreshore redevelopment project, thanks to the Commonwealth Government’s Thriving Suburbs Program. This significant funding will be used to extend St Kilda Pier to meet Jacka Boulevard, creating an iconic visitor experience.

The project aims to provide a vibrant and engaging space for both locals and visitors, promoting social cohesion and community well-being. The extension of the pier will not only offer stunning views and recreational opportunities but also support local businesses by attracting more tourists to the area.

This initiative is part of the broader efforts to revitalise the St Kilda Foreshore, ensuring it remains a beloved destination for generations to come. Council is committed to working closely with the community to deliver a project that reflects their needs and aspirations.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on the community and the local economy, making St Kilda an even more attractive and enjoyable place to live and visit.
