2024 Council Elections

The 2024 Victorian local council election will be held in October, by postal ballot. The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) will send ballot packs with instructions to all enrolled voters in Port Phillip to vote in early October.

You can only vote once in each council, no matter how many properties you own or occupy.

The rules have changed for Council-enrolled voters - you must apply (or re-apply) to vote in the 2024 Council elections, even if you have voted in previous Port Phillip elections. Please ensure you read all the changes listed.

Voting at the election is compulsory for everyone who is enrolled.

As we prepare for the upcoming October elections, we will endeavor to keep this page up to date with information.
